Anime and Manga–17th century artist Hokusai”are the Japanese version of animation for adult content, as well as, (Manga) childrens cartoons. Anime refers to animated movies, some with very mature subject matter. Manga are the cartoons that our children have become very familiar with and are becoming so much of American culture. Anime rose in western culture in the 1960s, although the creation of Japanese Animation (Anime) dates back to the 1940s. The father of Anime is often considered to be Osamu Tezuka who first introduced his vision to the eastern culture with Astro Boy.
Tezuka-s work made it to western shores in the early 1960s with much enthusiasm. This was followed by Speed Racer, which aired 52-episodes from 1967-1968. From the final airing of Speed Racer, the fanfare of Anime subsided and the market dried up.

Ladies first.
The Tomboy. This character can be found in the middle of the fight; that she started, toting a gun and an attitude to match. She-s opinionated, outspoken, knows what she wants, and gets it. She can have male like behavior, bold, dominate, daring. Dress for these ladies can vary from pantsuits, to long skirts, to one piece jump suits. They aren-t usually found in dresses but it does happen.
